Ground floor tenant improvement for a non-profit arts organization originally founded but Ansel Adams. Lobby and bookstore front Mission Street one block from Yerba Buena Park and the neighboring SF MOMA Gallery. New architectural elements are developed to allow the original concrete building structure to be exposed adding visual and textural character to the space.

Adjustable window displays, wall shelving and mobile carts are custom designed to allow the retail environment to be tuned and adjusted as necessary for daily commerce and special events.

Phased retail development with six retail buildings comprising over 80,000 sf, 12 screen Cinemark Theater, 150 room Hapten Inn Hotel and 40,000 sf Fitness Center.

With the Cinemark Theater as the Centers anchor, the Architectural language of the six retail buildings developed as a playful reference to the formal and expressive elements of the Cinemark Branded Design.

Supershow ‘98: Annual trade show sponsored by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA).

The exhibit design integrates Architecture with graphic aligned with the Reebok Brand. Architectural elements are designed to be light weight, demountable, portable and re-configuable. Walls and floating rooms are arranged to engage the participants with the product, moving them through a 3 dimensional sequence.

SF Honda Facade + Showroom

Overall facility upgrade focussed on seismic upgrades, improved lighting, accessibility, expanded sales offices, new customer waiting and information areas and improved exterior appearance to 100 year old building with a long history as an auto sales showroom.

New work added to the existing structure is designed as light attachments allowing the original architectural features to remain (preserved) as they are without further harm, to be easily removed at a later date as the needs off the building changes.

New graphics and design elements are designed to mediate between Honda National Brand design objectives and the specific needs and Zoning limitation of the San Francisco context.

Design incorporates Honda National Brand design elements with finishes and features developed in previous showroom remodel. New window will brings needed transparency indirect light to the retail space for greater visibility from the customer.

San Francisco Acura Showroom

Project studies multiple potential sites for new Acura dealership and showroom, creating test fits and design possibilities. Worked with Acura national branding and showroom design standards to best integrate with the existing urban conditions and San Francisco zoning limitations.

Del Monte Beach Hotel

Full renovation of existing boutique Inn steps from the beach in Monterey California. The new design Modernizes in function and aesthetics, transforming a dated exterior. The transformation at the interior introduces a new ground level Cafe and a roof top Spa while removing existing shared bathrooms and introducing new in suite bathrooms at all rooms without reducing the overall room count.

Fully entitled, after completed review and approval by City of Monterrey Design Review and Planning Commission.

Signage study with proposals developed as part of a rebranding effort. The design seeks to re-image the existing monument signage, utilizing the existing supporting structure, while creating a new Architectural language for future renovation of the existing center.
